I used to say “shut your pie hole” – how fitting is it that how pi-hole can do the same to advertisers.

get a raspberry pi
get raspbian https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/
make the image on the card https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/installation/installing-images/README.md
boot the pi
assign a static ip
https://pi-hole.net/ will provide you 1 line of code

curl -L install.pi-hole.net | bash
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
set dns or dhcp server to point to the pi
test
